Sacred Heart Tattoo is grateful to be living and working on the shared, unceded, ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Welcome to Sacred Heart Tattoo, a cornerstone of Vancouver’s Tattoo community. Since 1993 we have been home to the very best in the Canadian tattooing, employing artists focused primarily on providing our clients with quality work, genuine experiences and creative dialogue.

Situated in the heart of Mount Pleasant on 6th Avenue West since 2015, we uphold ourselves to the best in both design and Client care. Continually dedicated to a high standard of professionalism which is evident in the quality of our work, our respected position within the Canadian Tattoo Community as well as the regular clientele of tattoo collectors who call Sacred Heart home for their ongoing work.

Established by Adam Sky in 1993 and currently owned by Greta Pauls and David Green since 1997, Sacred Heart’s rich history, with past locations including 10th and Alma, West End on Davie Street, Granville street and Downtown’s Nelson Street has spanned generations of collectors and numerous careers of tattoo artists. We are truly a VanCity Original.

In 2011, we reworked our business model to a single studio, allowing us to concentrate on the art and craft of tattooing. Our staff, past and present, have flourished both within the Sacred studios and independently, bringing forward thinking work to Canadian collectors. We are proud to be a part of many Canadian tattoo artists careers, artists who have called Sacred Heart home and friends from afar who spend time with us on regular guest spots.

Today, we continue to nurture the studio’s environment providing a relaxed, communicative space that fosters creative exchange between artists, which benefits the end work for our clients. Our primary goal is client care and dialogue, ensuring the creative process, from consultation through to the healed tattoo you wear, fulfills and exceeds your initial concept and ideal. Our staff is experienced, multi-talented, diverse in styles and committed to providing informative consultations. We adhere to the highest standards of safety, with proper training in cross-contamination and updated health guidelines.
