What do I do after the tattoo is done?

A finished tattoo will be wiped clean and a thin layer of ointment, (Vaseline/A&D) is applied to keep the tattoo moist and allow for weeping. A non-stick bandage covers the area and is then sealed with medical tape.

What is your deposit policy?

Tattoo appointment deposits are taken to insure the studio time is accounted for.  Deposits are taken for tattoo appointments only; we do not take artwork deposits-no new drawing is started without both a deposit and a booked appointment. Any deposit paid is non- refundable/non-transferable and will be redeemed in lieu of a no-show for the appointment.

Do you take walk-in appointments?

All Sacred Heart Tattoo and Body Piercing locations take both walk-in and booked appointments. Walk-in appointments are on a first come first serve basis subject to artist availability and design. Walk-in appointments will require a deposit if booked more than an hour in advance.

How much does the tattoo cost?

Sacred Heart Tattoo and Body Piercing Studios have a minimum charge of $90.00 , working on a $160.00 per hour basis for tattooing. Pieces are priced accordingly to their time and complexity. Do I need a consultation?

For larger work, (generally more than one sitting) a consultation may be required with the artist. For smaller work you can book with our reception staff. They will take any and all pertinent information about the piece.

What are the general studio rules?

Our reception staff interact with many people daily in person, by phone and through email; no question is invalid. We have plenty of stock flash designs and our staff is very knowledgeable on the ins and outs of tattooing. Come in relaxed, there is no need to be intimidated or tense.

What will happen in the appointment?

When you sit down with your artist for the tattoo you will have a chance to view the drawing and/or line-work for the piece. Check the drawing to make sure everything is laid out as you want and, if applicable, words are spelled correctly.  After you’ve looked over the drawing a stencil of your tattoo is applied.
